Huddersfield Town’s Head of Football Operations Stuart Webber has officially left the club to join Norwich City.
It was confirmed on 30 March that Webber had been placed on gardening leave by Town after expressing a desire to leave.
An compensation agreement has now been reached with the Canaries that has allowed Webber to take up his new role.
Webber is responsible for transforming Town’s scouting operation and also played a huge part in the appointment of David Wagner in 2015.
He held previous recruitment roles at Liverpool FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers before moving to the John Smiths Stadium.
Wagner insisted that Town are in no rush to appoint a replacement.
“I spoke to Stuart last week and have no complaints on his decision which was a personal one,” said the Terriers’ boss.
“We will not rush to bring in a new Head of Football Operations; we are all just focused and excited about the next 7 games.”
