Nahki Wells: “We were back to ourselves tonight”

After returning to the scoresheet, Nahki Wells reviewed the victory and reflected more broadly on David Wagner’s rotational policy, Aaron Mooy’s influence and the role that Town fans have played so far this season.

Nahki Wells spoke eloquently about the confidence and concentration shown which were the crucial ingredients in returning to winning ways at the expense of Norwich City.

The never say die attitude and willingness to score a second and third goal was reflective in Nahki Wells’ comments about the second half display.

The Bermudan centre forward expressed his admiration for Aaron Mooy and how stylistically, the change in playing style suited both himself and the on-loan midfielder.

Nahki Wells also welcomed the return of Jonathan Hogg describing it as a ‘miracle’ and calling Hogg the unsung hero of the side.

More generally, Nahki Wells discussed the importance of competition and how he is coping with the rotational policy which has been introduced since the arrival of Collin Quaner in the January transfer window.

Before finishing by describing the fans as magnificent and giving the players the extra boost that they have needed to make it a season to remember.
